Getting Started Guide​

New to PCX? This guide will help you get up and running quickly.

Step 1: Connect to the Server​

Java Edition: Add play.pcx.sh to your server list
Bedrock Edition: Add play.pcx.sh with port 19132

When you first join, you'll spawn in our Hub. From here, you can access all of our game modes.

Step 2: Choose Your Game Mode​

Walk through the portals in the Hub or use these commands:

• /server ashthorn — Hardcore survival (death = season ban)
• /server stonehaven — Classic survival with claims and economy
• /server creative — Unlimited creative plots with WorldEdit
• /server skyblock — Island survival challenges

New players: We recommend starting on Stonehaven to learn the plugins before trying Ashthorn's hardcore mode.

Step 3: Protect Your Stuff​

Once you find a spot to build, protect it immediately!

Create a land:

/lands create MyBase

Claim the chunk you're in:

/lands claim

Claim more chunks: Walk to adjacent chunks and run /lands claim again.

See your land boundaries:

/lands view

Your chests and containers are automatically protected even outside of claims, but claiming land protects your builds from griefing.

Step 4: Set Up Your Home​

Set a home so you can teleport back easily:

/sethome base

Return anytime with:

/home base

You can set multiple homes (the number depends on your rank).

Step 5: Learn Useful Commands​

Essential Commands:

• /spawn — Return to spawn
• /home <name> — Teleport to your home
• /sethome <name> — Set a home location
• /tpa <player> — Request teleport to a player
• /tpaccept — Accept a teleport request
• /msg <player> <message> — Private message
• /r <message> — Reply to last message

Land Protection:

• /lands menu — Open the lands GUI
• /lands claim — Claim current chunk
• /lands trust <player> — Trust a player
• /lands map — View claim map

Helpful Features:

• /heads — Browse 32,000+ decorative heads
• /finditem <item> — Find items in nearby chests
• /kit starter — Get starter items (if available)

Step 6: Quality of Life Tips​

Harvesting crops: Right-click fully grown crops to harvest and auto-replant.

Sorting chests: Place a button on or next to chests and press it to auto-sort.

Double doors: Both sides open together automatically.

Night skipping: When 50%+ of players sleep, night passes quickly.

Finding items: Lost something? Use /finditem <item> to search nearby chests.

Step 7: Join the Community​
